How easy it can be for us to find ourselves under someone’s influence, to the point where – if it goes too far – an internal substitution takes place. How often have you noticed times when you don’t feel like yourself, when you suddenly start having streams of thoughts going through your mind that are not at all in keeping with your nature? How often have you noticed that you easily change your decisions or actions due to someone else’s influence?

All of these signs indicate a lack of inner resolve and strength of character – the lack of ability to unshakeably follow one’s own inner knowing, and to make one’s own decisions based on that inner wisdom.

One of the central teachings of Almine has always been: “A Master is self-referring for his approval, he does not react to others’ words and actions.”

This is that same inner resolve and strength of character that Almine refers to as our inner Lightning Rod.

Now, more than ever, world circumstances are electrified to the verge of catastrophe. We live in a world where all kinds of voices call us to follow them and change the direction of our life path. With this huge number of various calls to action, the question arises:

Where is truth?

There are so many options.

But the most correct option of all is:

Choose yourself. Determine, once and for all, that from now on you will make your own decisions. Whatever you decide will be the inevitably correct decision. Whatever action you take will be the inevitably correct action. You and the Infinite are one – therefore, Infinite Intent is your intent.

Confidence in yourself and your being right always and in everything is the key that activates within you the power of your lightning rod. Self-confidence is the source of your absolute peace, because you are not worried about making a mistake – as Almine has taught, we ourselves are our own standards of truth.

Recently we were asked the question:

“Does freedom of choice exist?”

As a rule, people ask this question in the context of trying to decide between many different possibilities presented by their surrounding world. For one person, it is in the context of trying to choose friends, for others it is trying to choose between different options of clothing, transportation or entertainment. And frequently this is what is meant by “freedom of choice.”

But in reality, there can only be one true conscious choice – to be true to yourself. And then everything else connected to everyday life, your career, your spiritual development, etc., happens automatically, as if on its own. If our full attention is directed to ourself, then we will know which course of events to create, which opportunities to take, which decisions to make. All of this happens, as if automatically, as a side effect of our primary decision to focus on ourselves. This is what Almine refers to as “automatic living.” Now we understand why, in her material of dissolving the 144 illusions, Almine says that we have no freedom of choice. It is because there is only one you, so there cannot be a choice between two or more. That is why “freedom of choice” is an illusion.

But what connection does this have to Healing the Nations of the Earth? We, as the Archetypes of Planetary and Cosmic Life, are now working on the most fundamental healing – the healing of our relationship to ourself, from which the healing of nations can begin. Lack of healing in our relationship to ourself expresses itself as disorientation in the face of seemingly myriad possibilities to choose from and loud voices that convincingly call us to follow them and only them. As a result of this division within ourselves, divisions between people, groups of people and even whole nations is possible.

As Almine says, all healing starts with self-healing.

Practical Instructions:

Before listening to the Ceremonial Elixir, spend some time in complete silence. Examine to what extent you doubt yourself and the correctness of your decisions. Examine to what extent you feel you cannot make decisions on your own due to difficulties in trusting yourself.
